Process
How it works
- 1
Find an MCS-certified installer who is registered for BUS — they handle the grant application on your behalf.
- 2
The installer applies for a grant voucher with Ofgem before your installation begins.
- 3
You receive a quote with the grant amount already deducted — you pay only the balance.
- 4
Installation is carried out; the installer redeems the voucher after completion.
- 5
You receive your MCS certificate and manufacturer warranty, both of which require MCS certification.
